Customs Code (Amendment) Bill passes first reading

At the sitting of 20 October 2026 the Mejlis agreed to the Customs Code (Amendment) Bill at the first reading by 54 votes to 3 and referred it to the Ways and Means Committee.

The chamber also agreed without division to a motion of thanks to the harvest workers of the Chu oasis.
