Mejlis of the Irad Special Economic Zone

The Mejlis is the Territorial Legislature of the Zone: a single chamber of 60 deputies elected for four years in eight constituencies. It passes the laws and the budget of the Zone and consents to the appointment of justices and commissioners. It sits in Legislative Hall in Talas.
