Visit Legislative Hall

The Mejlis sits in Legislative Hall in Talas, where Governors take the oath of office. The State Anthem is played at the opening of every session.

The public gallery

• Sittings are held on Tuesdays during the session, from 10:00.
• Seats in the gallery are given out at the north entrance from 9:00, on showing a passport or residence card.
• Visitors are asked to remain silent and seated. Cameras, banners and telephones are not permitted in the gallery.

School and group visits

Schools and groups may visit Legislative Hall on weekdays outside sittings, by arrangement. Write to info@mejlis.iradgov.org at least two weeks ahead.

Writing to a deputy

Letters to deputies may be addressed to Legislative Hall, Talas, and are passed on by the Secretariat.
